Group B Prompt
After reading further into the book, I still keep my same mindset on McCandless. I believe he knew what he was doing, and wanted to change his life drastically from what it had been. He took the chance of being on his own and there are examples showing his intelligence so I believe he knew what to expect. He is crazy to take such a drastic step away from normality, but he greatly changed his life. I believe he knew what he was going up against, but obviously things happen that cannot be predicted and this is what led to his death. Overall, my opinion of McCandless has not changed.

My opinion also didn’t change from reading further reading the book. But I am going to disagree with you here because personally I think McCandless is stupid. So having you say that he is crazy for taking such a drastic step away from normality makes me kind of think you could understand my opinion of Into the Wild. Overall everyone is in titled to their one opinion so I respect what you have to say. I wonder as the book continues if your opinion will change as the book continues on.
ReplyDeleteHey I had written something earlier but my laptop was being weird and didn't want to put my post up. Anyway, I agree with you, I think that after reading some more I actually understnad why acted the way he did for some situations.
